Thal Limited (formerly Thal Jute Mills Limited) enjoys the distinction of being the pioneer industrial project of the House of Habib. The company was incorporated on January 31, 1966 as a Public Company Limited by shares and is quoted on the Karachi and Lahore Stock Exchanges.

The Company after its merger with Pakistan Papersack Limited & Khyber Paper (Pvt) Limited is now engaged in manufacturing of Jute goods,Engineering goods,Papersack & Laminates.

Jute Division :
Established in 1966. Having production capacity of 33,000 MT per annum. It is one of the largest manufacturer and exporter of jute goods from Pakistan.

Paper sack Division :
Established in 1970. Having production capacity of 30,000 MT per annum. It is one of the largest manufacturer and exporter of paper bags mainly for cement industry.

Laminate Division :
Established in 1980 First unit of its kind manufacturing high pressure decorative and technical laminates in Pakistan under the brand name of FORMITE.

Engineering (Aircon / Harness) Division : Established in 1996 starting with Auto Air conditioners and subsequently added Wiring Harness, Heater Blower and AC Controls to it product line. It is one of the largest automotive parts manufacturers in Pakistan.
